Ver un pájaro es verlos a todos. Antes que el ejemplar de una especie, cuando vemos un pájaro vemos una función, un elemento vivo, una marcha de pasitos cortos, un aleteo, un movimiento relámpago. Las obras de Sofía Wiñazki nos hacen detener a mirar, más que el pájaro, el instante en que ese pájaro ha quedado plasmado en el papel. Su estilo parece nutrirse tanto del apunte rápido y certero al aire libre como de la modulación más reposada, la del trazo perfectamente técnico e invariablemente sensible, a veces más obsesivo y perfeccionista en el detalle, a veces dejándose llevar por la fluidez de la pincelada acuarelística, sin que esto último signifique imprecisión o borroneo. Ella pone sólo lo indispensable para que la imagen palpite y respire en clave menor. Y consigue, ella sí, el milagro de que ese pájaro que estamos mirando ya haya volado para siempre. Ver un pájaro es verlos a todos. Antes que el ejemplar de una especie, cuando vemos un pájaro vemos una función, un elemento vivo, una marcha de pasitos cortos, un aleteo, un movimiento relámpago. Las obras de Sofía Wiñazki nos hacen detener a mirar, más que el pájaro, el instante en que ese pájaro ha quedado plasmado en el papel. Su estilo parece nutrirse tanto del apunte rápido y certero al aire libre como de la modulación más reposada, la del trazo perfectamente técnico e invariablemente sensible, a veces más obsesivo y perfeccionista en el detalle, a veces dejándose llevar por la fluidez de la pincelada acuarelística, sin que esto último signifique imprecisión o borroneo. Para WALDEINSAMKEIT o la sensación de estar solo en un bosque, Sofia Wiñazki presenta una bandada de casi 50 pájaros: obras en pequeño formato, algunas en acuarela y otras en carbonilla. Unos paisajes -de los bosques, prados, llanuras y arborescencias tan emblemáticas de la obra de Wiñazki- y unas obras en cerámica completan la selección.
Sofía Wiñazki nació en 1985, en Caseros, Buenos Aires. Estudió Artes Visuales en el IUNA, dibujo y pintura con Patricio Larrambebere y dibujo con Eduardo Stupía. Participó de muestras en Zavaleta, Galería Mar Dulce, Naranja Verde, Delta Libros, Galería Una Isla (La Plata), Centro Cultural Borges, Galería Chez Vautier, Paseo Quinta Trabucco, Centro Cultural Parque España (Rosario), Arguibel, Boquitas Pintadas. Participó en la feria arteBA 2012 con Galería Chez Vautier. Fue seleccionada en las ediciones 2007 y 2009 de Proyecto A y en las ediciones 2008 y 2009 de Joven y efímero en el Centro Cultural Parque de España. Realizó intervenciones en el Alvear Art Hotel, la entrada principal del Alto Palermo, el Anfiteatro Lola Mora, los ascensores del Banco Central y en las vidrieras de los locales Rapsodia, Awada y de la Boutique del Libro. Fue docente de la cátedra de dibujo de Carlos Fels (IUNA) durante tres años, entre 2008 y 2010.
Galería Mar Dulce se especializa en obras de pequeño y mediano formato de pintura, dibujo, grabado, fotografía, libros de artista y objetos, realizadas por artistas rioplatenses clásicos y contemporáneos. Junto a Waldeinsamkeit presentamos +COLECTIVA27, una curaduria de obras realizadas por Daniel Santoro, Mariana Chiesa, María Elina, Marta Vicente, Johanna Wilhelm, Pablo Cabrera, Andy Mermet, Cecilia Afonso Estéves, Decur, Adriana Torres, Lola Goldstein y Ashley Cook, entre otros.

For WALDEINSAMKEIT, or the sensation of being alone in a wood, Sofia Wiñazki presents a flock of almost 50 birds: works in small format; some in watercolour, others in pencil. Two landscapes in medium and large format –the woods, fields, grasslands and arborescences so emblematic of Wiñazki’s former production- and some works in ceramic complete the selection.
Sofía Wiñazki was born in 1985, inn Caseros, Buenos Aires. She studied Visual Arts at IUNA (2004-2009), drawing and painting with Patricio Larrambebere and drawing with Eduardo Stupía. She taught drawing at the national university art institute IUNA for three years, from 2008 to 2010.
Galería Mar Dulce specializes in small and medium format artwork in painting, drawing, objects, limited edition print, photography and artists’ books realized by classic and contemporary Argentine and Uruguayan artists. Alongside Waldeinsamkeit we present +COLLECTIVE26, a specially curated selection of works by Daniel Santoro, Mariana Chiesa, María Elina, Marta Vicente, Johanna Wilhelm, Pablo Cabrera, Andy Mermet, Cecilia Afonso Estéves, Decur, Adriana Torres, Lola Goldstein and Ashley Cook, amongst others.
