El Teatrito rioplatense de entidades (Tre) es una plataforma de proyectos en donde participan artistas y escritores. El nombre Etimologías que da título a esta muestra refiere al interés del Tre por las palabras que dan un marco de identidad a lo rioplatense. En Etimologías se presentan varias obras relacionadas con la gráfica, la poesía y el libro.
Lo que el Teatrito llama "entidades" es un término bastante amplio pero preferentemente el Tre se inclina por pensar a las entidades como actores, voces que dan argumento a su teatro. De tal modo el Tre tiene su propia troupe de representaciones con las que juega plástica y poéticamente. Aquí se encuentran las personificaciones del Destino, el cual se presenta con una cabeza de rueda, del Tiempo, a modo de martillo, del Absurdo, a guisa de signo de pregunta, del Olvido, a modo de embudo. Superiores en todo a nuestros deseos y voluntades las entidades del Teatrito no son dioses pero bien podrían formar parte de la sustancia que los hace posibles.
Dentro de esta serie de personificaciones se insertan los dibujos de Ral Veroni sobre billetes argentinos y las fotos tomadas por Melina Constantakos con la representación del Destino: una máscara realizada por Pablo Runa y cuyo portador es el mismo Juan Carlos Romero (ver foto).
En Etimologías se presenta, además, los afiches realizados con tipos móviles por el artista Juan Carlos Romero sobre epigramas de Ral Veroni. También las publicaciones de los ensayos de Vicente Mario di Maggio sobre la preferencia rioplatense por el pronombre vos -en vez del tú- y sobre nuestro amor por la CH como fonema de cabecera. Ambos ensayos se exponen con mapas que ilustran cada tesis diseñados por Gustavo Ibarra.
A esto se suma una serie de ediciones y plaquettes de poesía que pertenecen a la colección del Tre en donde han participado -entre otros- el artista peruano Elliot Túpac Urcuhuaranga Cárdenas (ver foto) y el maestro impresor Patricio Gatti. Las publicaciones más recientes tienen la particularidad de haber surgido a partir del espacio que tiene el Teatrito en Facebook, como es el caso de El Affaire Murena, un debate que ronda alrededor de la percepción de la poesía y La Saga del Gaucho sin Cabeza, un atrapante folletín escrito por el Agente Rayo con el arte de tapa de Byron Hasky y el diseño de Rosario Salinas.
El Teatrito rioplatense de entidades fue fundado por Ral Veroni y Vicente Mario di Maggio en 2006. En 2010, con motivo del Bicentenario de la Revolución de Mayo, se editaron diez plaquettes con los poemas que integran las cosmovisiones de la serie. En abril del mismo año se realizó la primera exposición del Teatrito en Galería Mar Dulce. Otra muestra del Tre denominada Grafitos Neo-Pompeyanos tuvo lugar en la Galería Pasaje 17 en junio de 2010. En ésta se presentaron fotografías en gran formato (tomadas por el artista Bruno Dubner) de los esgrafiados 'a la manera romana' que el Teatrito rioplatense realizó en el barrio porteño de Pompeya.
Los artistas, diseñadores y escritores que participan en Etimologías del Teatrito son: Juan Carlos Romero, Ral Veroni, Agente Rayo, Byron Hasky, Melina Constantakos, Elliot Túpac, Vicente Mario di Maggio, Pablo Runa, Patricio Gatti, Rosario Salinas y Gustavo Ibarra.
Galería Mar Dulce se especializa en obras de pequeño y mediano formato de pintura, dibujo, grabado, fotografía, libros de artista y objetos, realizadas por artistas rioplatenses clásicos y contemporáneos. Los artistas de +COLECTIVA23 son: Mariano Grassi, Irana Douer, Isol, Lola Goldstein, Adriana Torres, Alfredo Benavidez Bedoya, Bela Abud, Diego Bianki, Elenio Pico, Marina Aizen, Daniel García, Decur, Mercedes Dutto, Pablo Mattioli, Daniel Santoro, Cristian Turdera, Sofía Winazki y Luciana Betesh.

The Little River Plate Theatre of Entities is a platform project involving artists and writers. Etymologies, the title of this exhibition, refers to the Little Theatre's interest in the words that form the framework of the River Plate identity. Etymologies presents a selection of works relating to art, graphics, poetry and the book.
The Little Theatre employs the term 'entities' in quite a broad sense, but it inclines towards thinking of them as actors, or the voices that provide the argument for the theatre. Accordingly, the Little Theatre has its own troupe of representations with which it can play, in both visual and poetic terms. Here we find Destiny presented with a wheel head, Time in the form of a hammer, Absurdity in the guise of a question mark and Oblivion as a funnel. Superior as they are to our will and desire, the Little Theatre entities are not gods, but they might well be made of the same stuff that makes them possible. Ral Veroni 's drawings on Argentine bank notes form part of this series of personifications, as do Melina Constantakos' photos with Juan Carlos Romero as Destiny (see photo).
In addition to these works, Etymologies also presents limited edition wooden type printed posters by Juan Carlos Romero based on texts by Ral Veroni. Vicente Mario di Maggio's texts on the River Plate preference for the pronoun 'vos' (as opposed to 'tu') and the phoneme 'ch' are also published in limited edition, with maps by Gustavo Ibarra. Added to this are a series of other Little Theatre editions and literary pamphlets, including works produced with the participation of Peruvian artist Elliot Túpac Urcuhuaranga Cárdenas (see photo) and master printer Patricio Gatti. The most recent of these publications have arisen from the Little Theatre's Facebook page, as is the case of El Affaire Murena (The Murena Affair), a debate on the perception of poetry, and La Saga del Gaucho sin Cabeza (The Saga of the Headless Gaucho), a riveting pamphlet written by Agente Rayo with cover art by Byron Hasky and design by Rosario Salinas.
