La exposición Bizcochos y pizarras presenta una hermosa selección de pequeños objetos y pinturas de Lola Goldstein y María Guerrieri . De especie desconocida, pero curiosamente familiar, estas pequeñas figuras y formas vegetales conviven en las paredes, las ventanas, los rincones y en el jardín de Mar Dulce.
Las mascotas y utilitarios de Lola Goldstein son hechas a mano en cerámica esmaltada con detalles pintados en oro. Cada mascota es diferente, aunque -indefectiblemente- compartan entre ellas algún rasgo en común: una nariz, la costumbre de echar hojas, esconderse o llorar sin motivo... Con la tez blanca y lisa, con expresiones tiernas, es imposible no enamorarse de estas pequeñas criaturas.
Las Pizarras de María Guerrieri son pinturas en témpera sobre tela y papel: jarrones haciendo tratos con floreros; fuentes expectantes; toallas incendiadas; una mujer tubérculo. Sobre fondos opacos y oscuros, los líneas fragmentadas brillan en colores que se tocan, formando figuras con distintos grados de humor y gravedad.

The exhibition Biscuits and Blackboards presents a delicious selection of small objects and paintings by local artists Lola Goldstein and María Guerrieri . These little animals and vegetable forms (of an unknown species, yet curiously familiar) have made the walls, windows, corners and garden of Mar Dulce their home this autumn.
Lola Goldstein's 'pets' are handmade in glazed ceramic with details painted in gold. Whilst each is unique, all have inherited some family trait or another: be it their nose, their habit of kicking up leaves or bursting into tears for no reason. With their perfectly smooth white skins and tender expressions it's impossible to avoid falling in love with these little creatures. Lola also exhibits a selection of utilitarian pieces, produced with the same technique.
María Guerrieri's Blackboards are small paintings in tempera on fabric and paper. The fragmented lines shine upon the dark and opaque backgrounds, their shimmering colours creating forms that range from the humorous to the serious.
